Pioneer 4050 HU subdrive

I have pioneer DEH-4050UB Head Unit.
Can any one tell me how to configure rear output to SUB mode?

The manual says that one can directly drive sub and can operate in 2.1 mode with load 4-8Ohms X 2 and 2Ohms X 1. My menu does not shows the SUB option to select between SUB/FULL!!!!!

Is there any setting in which some option to enable to get this setting done?

I wish to configure my rear output to sub mode and just front in full frequency mode.

Put off the HU first. Then press the big round button for 5 seconds. the top most level menu appears from where you can choose Sub/Full.

And do let me know if it drives the sub okay... I have a 4050 as well

Great it works,
I just have GT0937 fitted in box in rear which I had configured as sub and front is GT402 both JBL speakers. I had switched on HPF setting at 100Hz so that my front speakers takes the full control of vocals and highs. Sub i just keep at either 65 or 80Hz.
Its great!!!!
I have already purched a amp but I do think wether I need it. I am getting enough bass as well as overall sound.

Hmm... does this setting increase the overall bass or merely cut out the mids and highs coming from the rear speakers?
I was experimenting with this a while back but couldn't conclude this added bass - I thought it merely cut out a part of the overall spectrum from the rear. I will check it again to see if the overall SQ is better through this.

Mine are JBLs too - front comps and rear ovals.
