I10 Ice

Hi guys just got a blue i10 today. I need some advice on ICE. My budget is 70-80k and listen to hip-hop, trance mainly. I was looking at components in front and coaxial in the rear. 2 subwoofers (around 350-400 watt each) and a 4 channel and a monoblock amp.
Already have a pioneer head unit.

70-80k is a good budget. There are many i10 systems on Team-BHP. One of the better ones is Bhagwan's i10. Check it out.

Did have a look at Bhagwan's i10, love that but do not have that budget.
Something I had in mind :

ID or Illusion Component and coaxial.
ground zero entry level 12" woofers
Jbl GTO 1004
Jbl GTO 7001

good choices Go for it
if you can source ID components from the US and dont care much about warranty get them!
otherwise your budget should easily allow for Illusion Lucent components that are better than the Electras
Amp choices are nice

remember 3-4K on good wiring and about 4-5 K on damping

JBL GTO 7001 ( 700 watts) : Around 18-19000
JBL GTO 1004e : Around 14000
Illusion 6.1 for front 7000 ( yes up from 6490)
Ground Zero XS-AL : 12000 (500 ohm)
Rear Fills : JBL GTO 937 ( not sure about the price)

I guess you should rather go in for 2 of GZ
As a 700 watt amp would be powering a 500 watt sub and that would not be a good combo

even if you get 2 subs the total budget ( without HU , wiring and damping ) would be a maximum of 70000
If not it will be around 58000

!

Cheers

@LM002 I don't think they can quote prices on the forum. I can help with the approx. prices of the ID comps & coaxes.

ID CTX65cs (6.5" 2-way component System): 12,500/-
ID CTX65 (6.5" 2-way coaxial): 9500/-
ID CTX5 (6.5" 2-way coaxial): 7000/-

ID CXS62 "Chameleon" (6.5" 2-way component System): 25,000/-

ID XS65 (6.5" 2-way component System): 34,000/-

I would spend 70-80K (excluding HU) somewhat like this:

6.5" Comps (front): 12-15K
2ch/4ch Amp: 15K to 18K
Two 10" subs: 20K to 24K
Mono amp: 22K to 25K
Wiring (Power, RCA & Speaker cables): 5K to 6K
Damping: 8-10K.

Another suggestion :

GZRC 16X - Components from Ground Zero ~ 13000
4 Channel Amp : GTO 1004e ~ 14000
Two 12 " subs ( if they fit) - Radioactive - GZ XS-AL ~ 12000 each
Mono Amp ~ GTO 7001 ~ 18 - 19000
Wiring : 5000
Damping : 5000

The amplifiers and subs are decided but not sure whether to go for ID or illusion speakers.
Amplifier : GTO 1004
GTO 7001
Subs: GZTW 12

@hdyashok
Thanks for the pricing.
