ICE for my Safari 2.2EX.. help please!

people!.. as much as i love great sound in the car, my knowledge about the coaxials and components and the HUs and subs is really poor. Please help me out.
Let me list my requirements and fancies:
For the head unit:
1. A head unit capable of playing DVDs (so that i can add an LCD or 2 later)
2. Front USB for pen drives or a cable that comes form the rear of the head unit (usb female) with the ability of the head unit to show song names and stuff on the display.
3. Aux. in to connect any music player or my laptop.
4. Bluetooth capability so that when i get a call, the music stops ans the sound gets routed to the speakers and a small microphone near the console becomes the mouthpiece.
5.If possible divx playback
6.If possible the ability to play mp3s burned on a DVD disc.

For the speakers n subs n amps:
1. Lots of refined dhum dhum... basically lots of bass at low volumes. Problem with most systems i've seen is that one needs to increase the volume too much to be able to hear the thump of the beat. I want sound clarity and the subwoofer kicking *** at very low volumes aswell.
2. I somehow felt a sub tube (jbl or something) would really tuck into the deeper portion at the base of the main rear seat on the safari boot without compromising too much on the space available. i may be wrong.. please enlighten me.
3. I'd like to keep it simple and clean without fooling around too much with door panels or drilling into bodywork.

Installation:
technical tuff confuses me. I trust you guys fully. Consider me a novice. Just tell me the brands, models, prices or the combinations thereof...and a good installer in delhi/gurgaon where i can get all this tuff without too much running around or ordering and waiting.
Do let me know if giving someone's reference or naam lene se i can get genuine products/discounts/better service/attention.
Help me get a good system in place please. 20-25K or thereabouts is my budget.

With your requirements and budget, you'd be able to purchase the HU only. That's good. You can upgrade the speakers later.
JVC is the name which flashes in my head too. Check out their models.

DVD HU with DivX is 10-12K for JVC I think.
The Safari Stock HU is an Alpine 9887 which can play mp3s

Seems like a good idea. Please tell me what brands and model no./spec. to go for for the speakers in the front and rear. Also if i try and stretch my budget, what brand/model to go for the sub, the sub amp and wires n all.... basically a complete arrangement minus the LCDs. I'll beg/borrow/steal and get the moolah for all of it. and most importantly..where in delhi do i get the install done. cause i, being a novice can easily be fooled. so need to go somewhere or someone whom i can blindly trust.

The problem is the budget. If you dnt have a fixed one then you will start at 55k

Will also suggest Panasonic DVD HU. Do get compos for front doors.

Sony too have DVD HU but

JVC AVX11 costs 14K in Dxb.

Safari VX gets 9861E !

The 9887 is an excellent HU. The 9861E is not in the same league.

Oops, my bad, I just checked, its 9870, the 9887's little poor brother. I wonder how good is that one(I presume not too good because I can hear clipping above half way mark on volume)

Dont worry about the clipping. You'll hear that with the 9887 too. This can only be resolved by adding an amp. Still the 9887 has a lot more configuration options than the 9870. The 9870 is not in the same class as the 9881/3/5/6/7 but a decent enough HU - i have not compared the 9861E to the 9870 so between those two I dont have a valid opinion.

Dont be afraid of being fooled. Trust your ears. Listen to your music on a few speakers/amps and you will find that you will be able to hear differences.
