I'd take the HU to a Pio service station this is not something you should do yourself.

Try to reset the HU before you do that. You will lose your personal settings, but definitely worth a try.

The reset button is a small one on the faceplate(check ur manual).

Since it ejects sometimes, I doubt that a reset will solve your problem. You have one of these 3 issues.
  • A simple electrical problem - the microswitch you use to eject the CD may be faulty. Press it hard to see if it ejects.
  • A complex electrical problem - There may be a problem with the syscon, microP or the PCB that relays the eject command. Alternatively your eject motor may be faulty and/or intermittent.
  • A mechanical problem - There may be a fault in your CDM (CD Mechanism) ranging from misaligned gears, faulty rubber rings or moving parts may need greasing.
In all cases, I would take Navins advice and visit a professional to get it rectified.
