I came across this 4 ch amplifier from Balupunkt. Just want to know what you guys have to say about this.
My current config is mentioned in my signature.

All I am looking for is SQ. Dont really bother for power. Also I do not want to add a sub. I will be powering all 4 polks using this new AMP, if I buy this.

Do you guys think it will be a big boost in SQ ? People who own this amplifier, please comment.

Also whats the current probablt price with B&W somewhere near Gurgaon. Exact address of some of the local dealers ins Gurgaon, will be appreciated.

Is balupunkt a cheap ripoff of Blaupunkt??? :-)-
Lol.. I've heard Blaupunkts and I feel they are kinda harsh when powering components. In your case, its the polks that are already bright and loud and might sound even more harsh. Try the kenwood 8401. Its in the same budget and will complement the polks

there's a showroom which is authorized in balunpunkt in sector-14 market ..
and their branch is in galleria market too

but i would suggest you to buy a kenwood 8401 which will cost you 5k .

You cn even have a look at the JBL A-604 its a pretty decent amp.

How do u rate 8401 as compared to GT4 MKII ?

BTW I stay at Sec 10-A.

Another thing, if we increase the budget to say 6K, do we have some better options ? Please do consider that I am primarily looking for SQ only.

Its a decent amp for the price. I have it in my 2 cars. My current configuration is Pioneer 3090 HU, Front - Polk components, Rear - coaxials, 1 polk sub. The overall sound quality and punch is very good. I bought the amp for 6K with warranty and bill in bangalore.

I didnt understand, how u managed to power the fornts, the coaxials and the the SW with that amplifier. Care to elaborate ?

Well can somebody please compare the Kenwood 8401 to blaupunkt gt4 mk2, on SQ ?

I am dying to add in some more to the my ICE but not being able to decide.

Also I am not sure if i will add a sub right away but will add in for sure in the coming times.

Right now am planning to power all the four channels. After I get the sub later, i will power the rears off hu and the fronts and the sub from the amp.

Again I'll repeat, I am not looking for loudness, just the SQ.

i say, the kenwood 8401 beats the blaupunkt anyday! both are good amplifiers, but the kenwood is marginally better!

it a nice amp i love the smoothness it provide got it for 5k
