Amplifier Load

Hey Gurus..Need Help

I have a 2002 Santro with basic ICE as given below

Pioneer HU
Sony Xplod 600 watt XM-554ZR 4 channel amp
Sony XS-GT 6938 3 way Coaxial

I have an extra pair of Pioneer 3 way coaxial component speakers which i would like to use in my car.

Please help me with below queries:
  1. I would like to know if i can connect these extra speakers to 2 channels used to connect to the Sony speakers ?
  2. Can the amp take the load of 4 speakers connected to 2 channels?
  3. If yes what other precautions do i need to take ?
Cheers

Spend around 3k more and get a sub and dedicate 2 channels to it.. No question of load on the amplifier, as 2 channels of the amps are anyway not being used right now

so far you have mentioned only two pairs of speakers. what do you have for your fronts ?
if they are 4" coax, you can run them off the HU.
where do you plan to add this additional pair ?

Im sorry i forgot to mention, I do have a 12" sub(Xplod 1000 watts) connected to the amp and yes i have 4" coax in the front, I would like to connect the extra pair of speakers to the ones already connected to the amp and fix them to the rear panel.
