Is it going to be connected directly with your HU or with an amp?
Which car is it
The model Number would help.

Are you sure you went to a decent outfit who sells and installs ICE? Usually they can figure out to a decent extent how to install any brand speakers in even new cars they have not seen before. Or did they not see an incentive to do it?

Where did you buy the components from? There would also be independent installers who would do it for a fee - ask around.

You will be surprised how many installers in Karol Bagh know absolutely NOTHING about audio. We have seen stuff like:

- Tweeters and midbass wired directly, crossover thrown away
- Crossover mounted inside door, in water drainage path
- Tweeter mounted inside door, next to midbass
- Door panel cut up, midbass installed from over the panel

These guys do bad installs for a living. Anybody who loves their car should be wary of such installers.

just dont let them compare your speakers to some brands they may be pushing, and make you end up buying something else. in such comparisons, the house always wins

I am shocked to read this. My installer back in a small city like Bhopal knows how to install a Component speaker system.

More surprising is to know that some one who stocks an Infinity doesnt know anyone who can install one.

They may lack skills and knowledge, but I am surprised that they admitted that. This is normally unthinkable - most guys would have gone ahead and murdered the installation as Gunbir described.
