Hertz Indicab Gets a double dose of alpine in the kenwoods

after agonizing over whether to spend my one years saving on ICE, finally took the plunge!
first off, got a progrip steering wheel cover (550) , and some hella "red grill" supertones - to make sure that it sounds louder outside than it does inside

with the wires soldered and ready to be attatched

getting installed. i asked if near the firewall, inside the hood would be a better idea, but the installer said that even though that was the easier option for him, this location gave the max sound outside, while in the other config, the person riding shotgun would hear most of the sound

installed - 118db, not even my ice is that loud!

Be careful when you drive over waterlogged roads. It will be bye bye horn if you drive over flooded roads.

Ideal place is behind the tata logo on both sides of the logo.

Wouldn't the rear speakers fire towards the back rest of the rear seat? How would that sound? Not very clear imo, Especially since you're having the sub in the boot.

Rear doors or MDF parcel shelf would've been a better option.

Adding to what Vid said.I hope you have the original Hella Redgrills coz a lot of fake ones are available in the market, more fake than original.

thats what i thought too. Mr Z assured that It wont sound as bad , and I've heard a wagon R with a similar install, didnt sound half bad. I havent listened to the setup from the rear seats myself, and to be honest , i really dont care at this point , it sounds great from up front , and there is proper rear fill

My door pads used to rattle like hell, and i couldnt go above vol 14 before.
but i was almost half broke , so Mr Z decided to do a little cost effective damping for the pads alone

and i gotta say that its damn effective. I was able to push my HU till about vol level 24 ( it can go higher now that its HPF'd )
