problem in running speakers on my amp

i want to run the following speaker on my amp..
kicker DS600.2
6-1/2" 2-way Component System
Power Handling:
  • Peak: 120 watts

the amp is a kicker ZX200.4

i tried to install them myself but the front speakers cracked a lot and i the hissing sound was very dominant..
please help...

Looks like a grounding problem to me.
What wiring are you running ?
Have you given ground/earthing to the amp properly?
What RCA cables are you running.

fiorano, who is the installer. this is an install problem. check all wiring, loose contacts, shorts and also all settings on the amp. let us know.

the instal was done by autozone..
can u suggest some place in delhi where i can get it done "properly"..
i live in punjabi bagh..

Contact Low_Bass_Maker or Gunbir on the forum,they will help you out in solving the probs.

My reccomendation:

Just check the RCA cables if its fixed properly and probably try grounding them,set the HPF "ON" from your amplifier and play around with the "Gain" and "HPF" frequencies,do try to tune the crossover by shuffling the wires to get the correct phase of Input/Woofer/Tweeter done!!!
