GZTC 2165T vs Illusion Electra

Guys confused to pick compos between
GZTC 2165T & Illusion electra compos.

Please throw some light

can't auditon them .. that's the bad thing.

i prefer listening to HIP HOP songs so need compos accordingly

Both are equally good.
GZ will be a bit brighter than illusions at the same settings.

why dont you contact LBM/B&T. Being commercially involved, they might not be able to post on the forum but you can always use the PM facility :-)

i have troubled both of them a lot incl ramie.. don't want to disturb them any more :P

My nephew listens to Hip Hop and prefered GZ to Illusion in his NHC but the models he listened to were not the same (he compared 6x9s).

Nah, I have found that you cannot upset B&T. Atleast I cant and I can be a royal pain in the neck, just ask my wife! :-)

am going for illusions as of now .. will go gz rear 6x9 as i know they thump nicely

There's one little piece of advice I can offer. If you are going in for the GZ, get the GZTC 165T. The GZTC 2165T has 2 x 6.5" midbasses per side which can prove difficult to install without modifications.
