Finally The Wait Is Over --- 2nd Eclipse In Freedabad

Hey BHPians

Finally the wait got over today at 11AM when I got the good news that my HU has arrived

Waited around 3.5months for it .... long story ...

It is a Eclipse CD5100 , previously was using Pioneer 6850. And there is hell lot difference in the sound quality and detailing
The only lag I found was TA but HU having TA costs a lot

Will be posting a detailed report soon

Please find the unboxing and installation pics below

So the long wait is finally over.
That's a pretty clean self install.
And thanks a tonne for the very long audition.
No Doubt after listening to the Pioneer for 1 last time and then immediately listening to the eclipse, it was really a hell lot of difference.

Love the display of your HU.
Congrats.

P.S. Those compos do require change now.

Congratulations.
The Eclipse fever is slowly catching up. Great.

Was it a DIY install?

Hey! That's great.
DIY executed lovingly by the lovely couple in pic. Right?

Don't worry much about TA in a Swift. If the ears are a bit sharp and patient, you'll be able to achieve some good results with plane jane BAAS UND TROUBLE settings.

Congrats! A great looking and sounding HU! What was the landed price in India?

BTW, did you check out the latest model i.e. 5030? IIRC, that comes with TA and is around $250 mark.

OT - KMD?
