External USB Jack for my Non USB HU

Hi Guys,

The biggest mistake I made when I bought my HU along with the car was not to take one with a USB. Now I am unable to connect my USB devices.

I would like to know if I can get an external USB jack added to my Sony HU.

I have the following player

Xplod™ CD Receiver - CDX-GT370S

Help me out

Not sure if it can be added to the HU. Alternately you can look at FM Modulators.

Regards,

Sorry mate. Totally impossible.
A USB jack is more than just an input (like an aux) - it requires the necessary software and hardware to process the information in a FAT32 disk which you will attach to the USB.

Your Sony model does not have that. Therefore, impossible.

You may want to use an MP3 player as an alternate solution

Go to the place where you bought it from, perhaps they will give you an upgrade without significant loss.
