Need suggestion for ICE

planning to ICE my wagonr after almost 2 years.
have been using my ipod, then later bought an axiom inverter and have been using my laptop for the trips from bangalore to pune.

Finally, i have bought apline 9884.
now i need suggestion on fronts and rear setup.

i am not going for amp and subwoofer because of tight budget.

i am also not willing to cut door/dash.
so the fronts has to be either 4" coxial or comps.

going thru various threads have found below combinations:

1. coustic
fronts: cx402 cost:2k
rears: cx 603 cost 3.2k

2.JBLs
fronts: JBL GTO 428 / JBL GT5-S204 cost:?
rears: JBL GTO 938. 2.8k
3. Polk
fronts: DB401 cost:
rears: Db690 /DB691 cost:?

have skipped illusions, hertz assuming they are costly.
Please recommend out of the above one or any other better combination.

Also please let me know VFM kinda wiring.

If on a tight budget and not wanting to put an amp, use the existing wiring of the Wagon-R for the time being - good enough. Just make sure the installer uses a proper harness adapter without cutting / joining / taping the wires.

Of your choices, Coustic is a dubious choice definitely. Don't try to economise so much that you get a sub-optimal system for the price.

Polks are bright according to most people, and not VFM unless you get deep discount from the steep MRP (comparatively). JBL is VFM and comparatively much less bright.

Alternates are Infinity (not that costly really) and Blaupunkt (good support, VFM). Hertz is not represented well (perhaps available only at Sprocket Koramangala and some other places one would not recommend you to go).

Be sure to audition before you buy, preferably in a car. Sound Factor on Lavelle Road for JBL and Infinity or Mandovi Motors Wilson Garden / Kanakapura Road for Blaupunkt (I remember having auditioned Blau ODx series in a Wagor-R demo car there).

Consider cutting doorpad. A great installer can make it look almost OE.
The difference in sound is so vast. The last time I suggested someone to cut door pads to install 6.5s at the front, he ended up being this addicted ICE enthusiast/tycoon.

Illusions and Hertz are not that costly in comparison - perhaps they are not as easily available where you are.

Listen to any speaker before you buy.

Budget 7k for speakers

ok. understood that i would not require additional wiring.
now my total budget for fronts n rear speakers is 7k.
in case this is really too short, then i have to wait for another month to raise the budget (say to 10k)

can you guys, now suggest me the setup as per the mentioned budget?

i guess for 7k you can get a pair of 4" coax's in the dash and 6x9's - how you place them is up to you - tray, boxes - sealed or ported , in the rear hatch door
