as seen in the pics posted by you shows you are using a jbl bass tube, you can use one more bass tube (same model).

but it is not recommended using the same model or different model sub in different enclosure in the same install (tube & box ), compared to the box bass tube sounds boomy.

why you want to for two subs, do you like more bass or one bass tube is not giving sufficient bass to blend with the fronts, and which mono amp (model #)
are you using

the amp you have is rated as 200x1 @ 4oh and 300x1 @ 2oh this amp is good to power one sub, but if you want to add another sub you will require one more amp to power the sub or one powerful amp that can power both the subs.

Forget everything.. I had a similar set-up earlier, just buy one more tube and hook in parallel with your existing amp.. this would yeild in drawing more power (and thump) from your same amp..as the amp would "see" a 2 ohm load!

kenwood 9104 or jbl 7001 they both cost around 15k, but after putting 2 bass tubes with any powerful amp the bass will eat up you front stage.

@karan, @panky i went and found out today that i wont be needing a new amp cause i tested one more basstube and it's works great without any problems whatsoever so eventually will be testing a JBL sub woofer boxed in the coming week and deciding if the tube and woofer can jell if not then i'll just stick to one basstube.

More SPL ?

Why not ditch the current bass tube and get yourselves a JBL or kicker Sub(s) in a ported box and see how it sounds ?

Won't 2 basstubes eat up almost all the bootspace? However, you're doing the right thing by auditioning the options in your car. Let your ears decide.

ps: were you at Mani Square mall around noon on Saturday (yesterday)? I thought I spotted your car cross me in front of the mall.

..because each JBL bass tube is rated @ 4 ohms, so connecteing them in parallel would result in final impedance of 2 ohms.
