Why didnt you put speakers in the door? You would have been able to put even a 6.5 inch speaker that way?

I have mounted the midrange on the dash & the midbass will surely go on the door panel. The same way like how you have mounted them.

Planning to go in for the In Phase XTW6 240W Mid Bass speakers.
17cm mid bass speakers
240 watts
9oz magnet
Impedance: 4 ohms

Great setup vishwa, liked the sub-woofer,the fit & finish is superb. How much did it cost u?
some things to add from my perspective:
Alloys are missing for the black beauty.
How abt adding a remote boot lid opener, you can get that assembly from any MASS center it cost not more than 300/-
HSR no plate is badly needed.

thanks bro,

I already have the romote boot lid opener fitted 4 months back and Alloys will be in place soon. Contemplating between deep dish black machine polished with a mirror lip or a white with mirror lip.

Sorry to ask but what do you mean by HSR no plate is badly needed ??

my baby gets a punch or is it just an illusion

Guys,

Added a 2 channel amp and a midbass on the front door panel yesterday.

Now the mono takes care of the sub, the 4 channel amp takes care of the front stage and the 2 channel amp for the rear speakers.

I am really happy with the outcome.

There is more punch and the front stage is sounding more crisp and tight.

@ashok_lat: the equipment shown in pic 2 is a capacitor.

A capacitor is a bit similar to your car battery; it stores electrical energy. But unlike a battery it doesn't produce its own power, it simply stores it. A car audio capacitor will help you get the most from your amplifier. It will store power for release on demand, delivering it to your amplifier just when it's needed.

Your car amplifier requires a lot of power to play loud music, especially when there's lots of heavy bass. Without a capacitor your amplifier will be robbed of power by parts like your lights, engine, and air conditioner.
