Combination of 4 ohms and 2 ohms speakers.

Guru's is it ok to install Combination of 4 ohms and 2 ohms spekers connected to one 4 channel amp?
I have JBL components at front and JBL 3 ways at rear, now planning to put Illusions which are 4 ohms in front doors and JBL components at rear doors and removing JBL 3ways, all 4 spekers are driven by GTO 75.4 amp.
Woofer is going to be driven by GTO 301.1 so no issue in that department.
Thanks.

No absolutely no issues. You will have independent channels driving each set of speakers and each channel is steady at 2 ohms.

You may find that the volume level may differ so adjust according to taste.

But won't this negate the advantage of the 2 ohms speakers ?

?
IMHO, Other than an increased sensitivity, increased current load (only advantageous in case of a small head unit amplifier or a low power amplifier) there are no real advantages to a 2 ohm speaker.

In any case that 2 ohms hype is just a marketing thing. Speaker impedances keep changing depending on the frequency of the sound being amplified through them.

The speaker average a little over 3 ohms, which a little lower than most speakers.
