I heard Pioneer HU's were quite harsh. HU Clarion DXZ 785 is already on the way.

Just one OT question guys: MY friend is getting the clarion for me and another friend from the US. The total value of items he night be carrying might be roughly around 540$ (more than the Rs 25,000 limit)

1) Will that additional 40$ over the required limit matter to customs?

2) If the customs questions this and asks to pay duty, at the maximum how much do i need to shell out?

ask him to carry both in his handbag (boxes can be kept in the checked baggage) and it'll be all set!
