Hi Gyanis,

I'm planning for an ICE for my baby, Ritz VXi. After going through the treads I've decided on the following set-up. Since I'm not going for any amp at this moment, I would like to know you input on my choices with price.

HU - Pioneer DEH-P5150UB - 7.5k w/o B&W
HU - Pioneer FH-P6050UB - 8.6kw/o B&W
Still undecided on the above

Front components - JBL GTO608c - 4.8k with B&W
Rear Oval - JBL GTO947 - 4.2k - with B&W

Plank, spacer & harness - 1.2k

Few of my friends say I should go for JBL GT5-S265C as 608c works better only with an amp since it has got only 2 Ohms impedance (S265c is 4 Ohms). Is it true?

Can I go ahead with the above set-up? Or which is the best for a budget of 20k.

If you are self driven , you can have a better setup than this.

HU - 5150UB 7.5k as mentioned by you.
Fronts - JBL 608c - 4.8k.
4 Channel amp Blaupunkt GT4-MKII Amp - 5.5k.
Wiring + Harness + Install 2k.

You can add to this a sub later. This will be louder.
The JBLs will play to the potential and you can add a sub later ( JBL / Pioneer) - 3k.

Its better to avoid rears if self driven.
