Infinity in my Wagon-R

Hi All,

I have a wagon-R and last year i had put the following speakers:
a) Infinity 9623i - Rear speakers
b) JBL GTO0427 - Front speakers
c) Pioneer DEH P5090UB - player

I am located in mumbai.I now wanted to upgrade to sub woofer and ammplifier. My budget is 16k.

Please suggest a good amplifier and woofer for this combination.
Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
JRE

9K will get you the JBL 1004. 6K will get you a JBL 12" in a sealed box. 1K will get you a nice pair of RCA.

8.5k JBL 1004 amp (without B/W)
4k JBL/PIO/Kenwood sub with enclosure (without B/W)
1.5K Wiring
2k desi damping :P

Listen to the sub to know what suits your taste

Hi all,

I also got suggestions for Blaupunkt series as amplifier and JBL GT series for sub woofer from Car Accessories shop.
My Rear Speakers are infinity and i swear by them for their crystal clear clarity and ability to play metal and as well as lows.So i wanted a 4 channel amplier to complement this setup and wouldn't mind burning a little bigger hole in my pocket.
But i regret i couldn't fit Components as mine was a Wagon-R [I know there were suggestions for Illusion but couldn't find a retailer for that in mumbai].

You suggestions are needed.
I wanted to understand what is the importance of OFC in cabling.

Cheers,

Contact Bass & Trouble, he's the one behind the Illusion.

Boom off Carter Road, Bandra deals in Illusion Audio, ask for Zohir. Last i heard, the Illusion EL 4.1 were for 5K

For the amp, I'd suggest the

Blau Mark II or the JBL 1004 ,

get the 1004 and pair it with a GT5 sub in a sealed enclosure

more importantly - decide using your ears

cheers
