Wanted recommendations for a Sub: 200 - 300W handling capacity @ 2ohms

I can fork out about 10k for the sub. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

How will it be installed? IB/Ported/Sealed?
What amp will be used?
What's your music preference?

Hey JK,
I'll mount it in a sealed box. It will be powered by the sub channel of the Boston GT50 giving about 400W @ 2 ohms which is why I need a sub with a rating of less than 300W RMS.

I listen to death/progressive metal with lots of fast double bass.

You'll need a 4 Ohm DVC subwoofer to hook it up as a 2 Ohm load to the Amp.

So what are the options available in 4 Ohm DVC subs ?

I bought Infinity REF 1062 from US and paid around 10.5K, now the same thing is available via ebay india site via their shipping from US ebay for hardly 6.5K, worth buying sub and gives competition to many 12" subs. Its 4 ohms DVC sub so you can make it either 8 or 2 ohms easily.

I'd love to audition the Infinity Ajay. Any chance of that happening?

Also, what're your powering it with and how much power are you feeding?

Is it sealed?

Sure man i works at EGL if you are somewhere close to that area, come down will be happy to show you my setup.
Woofer is 275 W RMS @ 2 ohms and i am feeding her with JBL GTO 301.1 amp, 320 W RMS @ 2 ohms. Its very small sealed box and produces tight punches and gives a very good workout to the amp as well
