check your groundings of the amp,head unit and front and rear out from the HU.

it happens randomly for some period. and i also tried turning the HU off and the sound disappeared during that time

yeah i know, i had also this problem,but when i did wiring correctly,that is by grounding,its gone.
If you are still in doubts,check my thread in DIY.There i have clearly stated it and the solution for my problem.

i have given earthing to the amp by drilling a hole in the body. dunno bout the HU.

are you using the speaker level input or RCAs.

the input to the amp is via RCAs and the outpu to the speakers is through the regular speaker wires NOT RCAs.

so the front and rear are connected through RCAs and not the Speaker Level Inputs,right ?
If you have doubt you can look at the amp side to see which one is connected.
