Pardon my ignorance but are you running it sealed or ported?

You're sending some 1500 rms to the Ground Zero sub, huh?

The gain was set to 35%.I think that would be around 600wrms. Please correct me if i am wrong here.

A pioneer 306dvc is set to 25% and is easily taking it.

Sir ji you are actually wrong! Gain setting is a function of how much input voltage your amp is getting, so for example Frank's Eclipse with 8v pre-outs might need gain setting at only 20%, where as my earlier Pioneer with low voltage pre-out might need 60% gain at the amp. In either of the two cases, the amp will make full power when (a) the signal or the music is at full amplitude, say a particularly loud drum sound, and (b) the volume from the HU is at the max. Now, please note that this full power is noted as PMPO, and is wayyy higher than RMS power. So what I am trying to say is that it is entirely likely that your amp fed more than 1500 wRMS to the poor sub (depending on how loud you were listening to some particularly loud music)!

sir the volume was on 23 which is around midway for my HU and sub gain was set to -6. i am listening to same volume on my pioneer..

most subs will complain when pushed beyond their linear limits.

^ Yeah exactly! Piyush, tell us you heard no weird, strange noises coming from your sub before it actually bottomed out?

2. what the spider or surround torn or damaged?

The voice Coil was open as told by LBM.

No idea about spider or sorround

The Amp is running fine on my Pioneer Woofer (around 3 years old) abusing it a lot still its holding on.

Guys, The woofer is now where in sight till now. May be coming Next week.

I have a Clarion DPX 11551 Amp with ratings as

CEA 2006 Power Ratings
1570W x 1 RMS [2Ω @14.4V ≤1% THD+N]
850W x 1 RMS [4Ω @14.4V ≤1% THD+N]
S/N 63dB (Ref: 1W into 4Ω)

Thinking of a Woofer or Two in My swift. Please suggest some.
What about 2 ID CTX that Frank bhai is selling. Will the woofers be able to handle the Amp power. Looking mostly for SQ which would go low.
Please suggest
