Hi guys....

I am almost finalized to buy a Tata Indica Vista...I want to upgrade the ICE by adding the following amplifier.

The CD Player is Blaupankt....I want to connect the speakers to an amplifier

I was looking at this one. Is this one good ?

I want to upgrade the amplifier so that later on I can connect components in the front and an woofer at the back. But for now I want to connect only the OE speakers(4 nos) to this amplifier.

Maybe it is. Because firstly I got this information from Blaupankt India Website only. Secondly one of my colleague claims to have it in his Getz. Though I cannot confirm the later.

I will try to enquire this from Blaupankt dealer in Bangalore.

Well there is one available in Chandigarh with one the dealers . I am not sure about the model . I guess its the one u taking about or VA 475 something model

PS: This model is not available in India, as far as I know. Blaupunkt is not too interested in making it big in a market as large as India. Too bad.

OT : Yeah frank my Amby produces 5 BHP. It is 1981 - 83 model.

PS : Thanks for the info. I will try to get it in Bangalore. If I am successful I will post about the quality.

Ok sir. 5 BHP is really putting her down though. 15-20 BHP easily. Come one ;-)


About the amp, do let me know. It's pretty high powered and will be a good option if it can be procured for a good price!

5 BHP is a full RAW power for that Metal Dinosaur. Its an antique now. We get mechanics aged 55+ only for repairs.


Anyways, yes I checked and my colleague has got that amp. He said he bought it from Mumbai. Can anybody from Mumbai confirm this ?

I myself went to the Mumbai showroom today and they said they are not selling Blaupunkt in my part of town anymore. Pity that. I would have asked!
