The new Alpine CDA-117

Just saw that Alpine has released the the new CDA-117 which though not a 9887 replacement looks a step up from 9886. But I am slightly confused as the TA seems to absent for the subwoofer or am i missing something.

Time correction is present albeit not as sophisticated as Imprint. See Page 17 of the user manual (I happen to have it) and they talk about setting the TA for front, rear and subwoofer (left and right).

If this is the intended replacement for the 9887 after it dies in February, I'll be very disappointed.

It definitely is not. Just a souped up 9886 and we are still to see the 9887 replacement IMHO.
