Audio Setup for my i10 "Blackagna"

Dear Audio Experts:

Please lemme know how this config wud come out?

Am not an audio freak, but I'm a kind of!

HU 6050 UB 9.3k [Without Bill & Warranty]
HU 5290 UB 8k-9k [With B/W]
HU 5250 UB 8.2k [Without B/W]

Front:
JBL GTO608C 5.3k

Rear
JBL GTO 947 4.3k
[or]
Rockford fosgate prime / fun 3.6k
[or]
Lightning Audio 3.8k

MDF & Spacing - Rs. 750

My Budget is 20k. Should I go in for an Amp as well? [But I have already reached that limit]

Note: Selected in Bold is my personal choice!

i would suggest

Kenwood 643 headunit
Bull Compos 6.5 inch
Bull Co ax 6x9
kenwood 845 4 channel

Roughly 22k .. But its better than what you selected

Surely go in for an amp prefeably a 4 channel one to power your components as they will really benefit with the added power and play a lot louder and cleaner with an amp. With a 4 channel you can add a sub later if you want.

Will Amp without Sub will have that much an impact on the output or I jus want to give a try with this first & then add an amp. Wat say?

Try checking out few other places before buying.
6050 is an old model, You wont find 6050 with B/W - Also, This wont play mp3 files that are more than 256 kbps

Try the Kenwood 6539, if you can get it - May cost around 9.5-10K.
it has TA, D/A Converter and an excellent display - The Best under 10K in India

Try getting the Pioneer 5190 UB - Might be around 8-9K in grey
Or even the 6190 UB (the current gen of 6050UB) might be a bit pricey though

Try getting the JBL GTO 938 rather than the 947

An AMP driven speakers have much more Clarity and Depth than HU powered ones. You' ll be surprised at the level of detail and Punch it offers

Sai, I also have a GTO 947 in my spark rear setup. I am pretty satisfied with it. Plus JBL is a tried and tested brand. Would advice you to first take a demo from the accessory guy as ICE is totally subjective

Thanks a lot for your suggestions & time!
I did check up on Kenwood HU, but it looks this has been discontinued & not available in market as well. I found the same in the below thread as well.

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/ask-gu...ml#post1326398

Are you sure the 2 Din Player [Pio 6050UB] does not play songs that are above 256 Kbps? Since all the songs that i have in my lappy is 320 Kbps. :(
This is sure a let down then!! OMG

I'm ready to go for the amp, but I don wannu cross my budget which keeps me stick to a setup without Amp. Anyways I'm planning to put my Amp in another 6 months time.

On rear speakers, I was pretty satisfied with GTO 938, but only after checking various threads here I changed my mind to GTO 947. I see a reply from another user as well.

Apart from that Pio 5290 [2010 Model] is available Upgraded version of Pio 5190.

Now am pretty confused like any other Petrolhead :(

Pioneer 6050 UB does play upto 320kbps. I have this in my car and it works fine. Check the user manual online for more details on compatibility.

My friend has the same, he says it doesn't support files greater than 256 Kpbs. It reads such files, but dont play it seems.

I dont think you really must fret so much on the 2 pioneer models or the Kenwood. As long as they have USB, play Ipod and have 3 preouts you are good to go. If possible go in for a HU with TA. It makes a big difference in sound quality
