I am noob when it comes to ICE'ing the car.
So I come in peace to get further insights from the Guru'jis of T-bhp . I did search through the ICE discussions but could not find what I was looking for.

1. Your Car: Xylo E8 (2+2+3) seater
2. Your current setup (If any): Factory fitted 2DIN(1DIN) system
3. Your Budget: Not a problem.
4. Do you drive most of the time or is it chauffer driven? Yes and also Chauffer.
5. Your Music preferences (Genres, favorite artists, etc.): Rock/Hard Metal/Tamil/Hindi/Telugu/Malayalam .
Additional Information:
6. Are you ready to sacrifice your boot space/modify door panels? : Not door panels.

I did research through the forum/internet on selecting a HU with 7" screen & following features.
a) Bluetooth & USB support
b) DVD/DVD-R playback for Videos & Music
c) iPod & iPhone support
d) Rear View Camera input.
e) Possibility of having steering mounted controls(small remote) and Roof mounted LCD screenf)

Following products suit the above requirements.
I would need suggestion from you guys on which one would be the better & also price in either banglore or chennai. I would be buying the product from Singapore if they are cheaper than India.

I have 3 days left to compare prices and shop if it turns out cheaper in singapore compared to india and then I am off to Bali and a long vacation to India. So guys pls wake up.

Coincidentally its requirement for XYLO again.. Difference? Its 2+3+3
There is audio only Sony HU already fitted, which occupies only single DIN.
As many would know, XYLO has provision for 2DIN.

Looking at options for rear view assistance in reversing, any ice device available in market (here or Singapore) which would occupy available DIN (with its own screen/LCD) & show the rear view from camera?

Have not opted the reversing sensors & rear guard yet.

Any help is appreciable

@pamul, any 2DIN HU from Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood, Alpine etc. can take Rear-view Camera input. They switch the video to the camera as soon as one shifts to Reverse (there is a specific wire that needs to be connected).

You have to buy the camera separately, and get it mounted.

I managed to located alpine & pioneer AV 6050 which is costing S$1650/- and S$1199/- respectively in Singapore. I m still hitched on clarion but pioneer will be my next bet. I have a week to decide . Will keep you folks updated.

xtreme@ ; pamul@ well i'm in a similar predicament, got a brand new xylo on the stand by and I'm not that clear on what ICE should i have. What did u ultimately settle for at the end and what was the cost?

Need the experts here!
