Help on tuning amp

Hi guys,

I have been breaking my head on tuning an amp. Long story short.

Vehicle - Safari 2.2
Headunit - Alpine 9832 ( only one pre-out)
Amplifier - Infinity (not sure of the model number) 125w RMSx4.
Speakers - GTO 608c & GT5 S204, Lighting Audio Sub (150RMS max)

Now the problem is the whole set up doesnt sound good. All the speakers dont mix up properly. today spent around 2 hours tuning and its not working well.

The rear speakers S204 is driven by the HU, components by 2 amp channels and subwoofer bridged putting a total of 250 rms. The HU crossover is set at 80Hz.

The method that I followed.
1. turned down all the amp gains and set the HU vol at a level where the rear speakers dont distort.
2. Increased the gain of front channels to match the volume levels of the rear speaker such that rear works as a fill and doesnt dominate.
3. Increased the sub levels to add in the required bass effect.

I have tuned the cross overs on the amp so as to have an overlap between the front low end and the high end of the sub. All the equaliser settings were set to default with no boost.

Now what to do ? could it be the low performance of the speakers (font, rear and sub ) or an inadequate HU. I am clueless here.
