Add amplifier to existing stock headunits

Since most of the cars (Ex. swift zxi, scorpio vlx, xylo e8, innova V etc) manufactured today come with integrated head units was wondering if we can add or connect an amplifier to the existing stock head unit and improve or boost the overall audio experience.

Mods: I did not find any relevant post. Please merge if already exists.

arun, cars like swift, i10, i20, ritz, civic, etc comes with integrated HUs. scorpio's & xylo's HUs can easily be interchanged with any 1 DIN or 2 DIN HU.

yes, we can definitely add an amp to the existing HU but the outcome will never be as what you expect. atleast thats what happened in my case.

the answer is pretty simple that its obvious, so probably nobody has asked it yet
if the stock HU has pre outs, then you use that, else you use line level converters/amps with high level inputs
