The Auditor has a much smoother treble response compared to both kenwood 8405 and JBL S644 which fall into the same price bracket.

As far as the polk being 100 rms is not really accurate, its just a spec, last week we took out a polk db6501 and immediately played a MB quart formula series 40 RMS component speaker and it blew polk out in power handling and clarity, car owner shocked, RMS in most entry level products is just eye wash, what really matters is how a product is built.

I went in for the polk cause I had heard it extensively and was happy with the clarity from it. There might be better speakers out there with higher or lower rms ratings, but that really is secondary to how one actually perceives the sound coming from the speakers ultimately.
I didnt want to be in a situation where I picked something else up and was not happy with the signature sound from it. So no regrets on that front

Satya would you be able to compare the auditor to the focal solid 4 in anyway just cause the auditor is a trademark of focal? I have heard the focal run on polks and pioneer hu and it sounds fantastic. Would the auditor compare with the same setup to some extent?
