Navin Sir,

Yes, i tried variuos locations before settling the Tweeter in the A Pillar. yes, u are right it will catch dust fast , iam also looking at some options to cover it with some material which will not vibrate when i play the music loud..maybe a cloth cover with velcro or something which can be removed easily and washed...

Swathyd,

Yes, i have tried couple of Mp3's which was recorded at high quality but threw it out within 10 mins.. it's audio cd all the way now , which is also starting to burn a hole in my wallet now..

It looks like a true audiophile equipment as you are revealing your setup.

What is that LED type thing poking out from Courtesy Light Set ? Is it for some kind of remote?

It looks like its an IR LED from an aftermarket steering wheel remote interface which helps to retain steering wheel audio controls even with an aftermarket HU!.

<hic><hic>...<hic><hic> Nitrous-anna, since you started my hiccups, you should be able to provide a remedy to stop the hiccups.

Does the HU play FLACS? If it does, I'm looking a big hole in my pocket...

triedeverything,

No, the system does not re-start when the car re-starts , it plays from where it stopped earlier.

DerAlte,

I have the perfect remedy, shall i send the setup over to you with a inflated BILL? ..

wannabe loser,

Let me try my hand at a cost break-up of this setup.

Head-Unit - Pioneer DEH-P01 Carrozzeria - 45k (as per vraghuz)
Front Comps - Dynaudio Esotec System 362 comps - 86.2k
Speaker Amp - Genesis Series III Dual Mono - 46.7k
Subwoofer Amp - Genesis Profile Sub - 33.6k
Damping - Dynamat Xtreme - 13k (assuming 1 bulk-pack)
Power Wiring Kit - Kicker PKD1 - 16k
Subwoofer - Image Dynamics IDQV3 12 - 22k.
Total - 2,62,500.

I am not sure about the prices of Chameleon Plus speaker wires & Crimson plus RCA's, soo i assume at least another 10k for those (could be wrong though)..

Also add prices of the steering wheel remote interface, misc accessories and cost of installation, i am sure this setup touches 3L.

DerAlteji, i am sure the above mentioned info will act as a remedy to stop your hiccups.

Exactly, Navin. The cost is what started <hic> the hiccups in the first place<hic> , and <hic> everyone is busy giving <hic> me more and more doses< hic> of the same, instead <hic> of giving a remedy <hic>!
