Using game consoles on the BMW 530d (F10)

Hello,

I asked about this in my car initial report but I guess I could get a better answer here, I got the new BMW 530d, and there are 2 S-Video inputs at the rear with 2 individual screens, so if I had to attach an XBOX 360 or a PS3 how could I do that? I mean how exactly can I get a power source for them? Also considering the consoles would stay loose on the floor are there any specific holders available in the market?

Any help would be appreciated. Including where can I get the materials, and if someone is in Ahmedabad that would be a great blessing.

Regards,

You can power the console with an inexpensive inverter. Buy one that can deliver the power that the console requires.

Thanks a lot, got one works fine, just wish the car had an HDMI Input.

Lastly, since my car has TV Tuner, is there any way I can get all other TV Channels besides DD, and someones a very distorted Discovery, I believe Dish TV had some solution for mobile tv but is there any way to get all the channels in this?

Regards,

Getting dish means you will have a big satellite dish on your roof, which looks quite bad.

Hi,

No I don't mean I install the dish, I mean assuming the hardware is all ready and built in I assuemd there must be a way in which I could decode it to work in a similar manner by paying the monthly charges to Dish Tv.

I know what you meant. But Dish Tv as far as I know cannot be integrated into the OEM system. it will have its own antenna on the roof which is huge.
