Came across another detailing place to try out, Cars Inn in Nungambakkam.

Pretty satisfied with the work, though I went on a weekday when it was quiet. They charged 3k for wash, claying and polishing, and wax for my Polo. There was another package for 5k which was same + sealant. Regular foam wash is Rs.370.

The staff was pretty courteous and I liked that they spent quite some time at the end inspecting the car before delivery.

I have been taking my polo and alto for their foam wash regularly. they charge Rs.440/- for the Polo and Rs.370/- for Alto. I am very satisfied with their services and planning to leave my Alto for a paint sealant. They have quoted Rs.3490/-and Rs.990/- for interior stain removal. while 3M quoted me Rs.4190/- for their Paint Sealant. The owner Mr. Arun thoroughly inspects the car before handing it over and they are very receptive to suggestions and complaints. I had a chat with him and he told me that he was the Team Leader with the Nissan which developed the Evalia. He has quit Nissan and opened up Cars Inn.

Need a paint sealant and underbody protection for my i20. And since Im located near anna nagar, this seems close by.

I found Cars Inn through BHP directory and wanted to thank Mr. Bottle & Mr. Gocool for their positive reviews. I went to Cars Inn last week and the owner Mr. Arun gave me a warm welcome to the customer lounge. The owner is young, courteous & enthusiastic. He explained the service packages and it was clear & informative. After explanation he enquired about the age of the car & the time since last buffing. He advised me not to go for machine buffing since it’s done just before 3 months, an honest salesperson. So I decided to go for exterior waxing & complete interior cleaning.

Work sequence:
They had 4 bays. Three bays for detailing and one bay for washing.
Initially the car had a high pressure wash followed by foam wash.
The car was then moved to the detailing bay after washing.
Professional approach like masking electrical switches & removing customer belongings were done before interior cleaning.
Separate clean microfiber clothes for interiors, waxing and tires were used.
There were routine checks by the owner throughout the service.
Once the service is completed they started inspecting the finished vehicle with a checklist.
Finally I was invited to inspect the vehicle before delivery.

Overall the finished product exceeds my expectation and the Interior especially looked like it just rolled out of the showroom.

Work, Cost & Time involved:
Interior detailing (includes seats, dashboard, doors, roof & floor stain removal & polishing).
Exterior detailing (includes wash, waxing, plastic & tire polishing along with interior floor vacuuming).

It cost Rs 2090 net (Rs 1390 for interior & Rs 990 for exterior if done each separately).

It took approximately 3 hours for the above job.

Positives:
Brands / Products usage like Menzerna polishing compounds, Meguiars cleaners & conditioners & ceramic quoting (Cquartz only based on customer requirement).
Customer friendly outlet with the attitude of doing some extra bit of work.
No forced selling. Understands the requirements & suggests accordingly.
On-time delivery.
Good waiting lounge.

I never told him that I belong to BHP community since I wanted a normal customer’s service. I also saw BHPians silver Brio (TN 06 registration) getting washed.


They also have AMC with 30% savings (which includes wash on every month & wax on alternate month).

I went for a quick wash last weekend. It took less than 45 minutes for the whole job. The quality of wash is really good. Previously I used to give it to VW mount road for a wash. Quick wash is a definite VFM.
