Hi,

Anyone did the 40 point check service with this BOSCH service center? For fiesta diesel they charge around Rs.4500 and they do fill only BOSCH engine oil (5w 40) grade. Is this advisable? Please share your inputs for the same.

Guys, any advise on whether I can leave my car with such service centers overnight? I am being told they need 24 hrs for interior cleaning of my qualis. i had requested for my seats to be removed, carpet taken out and inside cleaned thoroughly. this service center is the only one who agreed to do this. i have never left my cars at any other service center, other than the A.S.C/dealer where i purchased.

I got it done here and they were very good. Cleaned the interiors very well but I think they charged me a tad more for the outer water wash at 500rs. They were also waiting for a tip on my way out, something I have not been accustomed to at my Maruti *** or my Toyota...

I am planning to visit the Bosch center in Adyar to get a shampoo and interiors vacuumed for my Punto. I tried calling them for the rates but the guy on the phone said "I don't know." Can somebody here post their prices for basic services? I know Shell Porur would do a shampoo for rs. 350 while 3M Nungambakkam would charge around 500.

The other reason I want to go to Bosch is to get a quote for some denting and touch ups and see if they can fix the rattles in my front right door. Mine is a new car, almost 2 months old and I don't have the heart to take it to Tata Service Center yet.

Were they able to fit the carpet back properly? Planning to get this done sometime soon

Yes bottle, they were able to fit it back pretty well. i havent givent it a close look, but all seemed well.

Bosch car care number has changed.
Planning to go there for a full body paint for my car.
The person who is supposed to give the quote Mr. X, never answers his calls.
I have been trying to get through on a call to him for the past 1 yr on and off on the number +919444909696
Anyways the final numbers which returned some answers were

Mr. X is out of town it seems and will be back only on Saturday so Mr.Yasar has asked me to come there on Monday to get the estimate.

Relativity did you get to visit the Adyar Bosch Centre how was your experience.I have a few dents which need to repaired so any feedback will be appreciated.One more small query there are few Bosch service places listed in Chennai do all carry out all the works.For me Adyar or T nagar would be nearer than vadapalani so kindly let me know about the same

After all the efforts to contact them through phone to confirm my appointment going in vain I decided to just show up.
Went there at about 5:30 pm.
First impression - Packed with cars and no space for any kind of movement.
Would'n not feel comfortable to give it for service here.

Anyways I finally found the reception which was right inside and found Mr.Anantharaman.
Saw a lot of boys doing some panel rubbing, polishing next to the painting both.

So finally i got a quote to paint the Santro LS 2001 Metallic Silver for Rs 27500/- (only exterior)
Another Rs7000/- (interior)

This is lesser than what the road side mechanic quoted.
Planning to give it a go.

I've been planning to get the bumpers on my 8 year old Optra repainted for some time now. But haven't been able to decide where to get it done from.

Last time I spoke with Ignite garage, they quoted nearly 8k for doing both the bumpers. And I wasn't so sure about getting it done from there.

If this place turns out to be good, then I'll definitely get the bumpers repainted from them. Also wanted to ask you, do they do any touch ups?

Last month I got the evaporator coil cleaned with Bosch Car Care Center for the WagonR.
Also got the front bumper painted partially.
I have earlier changed the A/C compressor here about 5 years ago and Mr. Anantharam is very helpful and cooperative.
The prices are reasonable and workmanship is satisfactory, though there is scope for improvement.
The workshop is little messy compared to earlier days and some house keeping is necessary.
Would recommend this place for special type of works which OE workshops are not skilled or trained enough.

Finally my car has been docked at Bosch for a complete body work.
Giving it a new leash at life after 10 yrs of its service.

May be a little engine flush and clean.

Its been 5 days and I am really happy with the speed of progress.

Everyday I go, some work is definitely done on the car.

I will keep you all updated.

Impression till now - Happy that the car is in safe hands, and I can visit it any time. (Unlike in a company outlet).

The most satisfied experience I have ever had.
The outcome was amazing. The attention to detail and the streamed line work follow was worth watching.

That is great info and very reasonable IMO. I will get a quote for a fresh lease of life on my Qualis.
