Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() THe one is the first pic is the original TEMPO built by the Firodias. It was mostly used as a commercial vehicle. the 3 wheeler taxi was the BADAL which is a British design (Reliant?) and I think the Sipani group built it. |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() The first pic is the Greaves Rickshaw if I am not wrong. There are still some examples on the road today in Southern India. The car / 3 wheeler in the second pic is a Reliant Regal. Someone had made a world tour in that long time back ![]() |

| ![]() Is this the same car (type) as the one used in the (Rowan Atkinson) Mr. Bean (other than his Minor ofcourse) serial. THere is a light blue 3 wheeled car in many of his episodes. |

the one is first pic used to be called tempo if i am not wrong. lots of noise, and most probably diesel. ( i was very young when these frequented the road....and at that time i was more concerned about the nice smell of petrol and a nice ride in a fast car. ![]() p.s: OT: how many here like the very smell of petrol?? | |
