Yes, you are right. I thought they would be loading since Chennai is the nearest Ford factory to this location.

Indian Railways designs improved prototype NMGH automobile carrier. To boost freight loading, parel workshop has developed this automobile carrier in 45days. It has speed potential upto 110kmph and will undergo RDSO oscillation trails.

Rate revision for transport of vehicles via railways could make auto manufacturers look at alternate means of transport.

The Ministry of Railways has revised the rates of haulage charges, increased the freight rates by 20% for the movement of Bogie Covered Autorake Double Decker (BCACBM) from the current financial year.
