The Isuzu D-MAX Single Cab Flat Deck will now be available with a factory fitted air-conditioner unit. This step is expected to reduce drive fatigue and increase productivity.

The D-Max will now also be sold in a cab-chassis variant. This version is expected to allow customers the flexibility to construct their own load-bodies suitable for their business requirements. This variant will be available in the Isuzu D-MAX Single Cab model.

The Isuzu D-Max is built on a heavy-duty chassis and cab made from high-tensile steel. The front and rear suspension have independent coil springs and rigid leaf springs respectively. The vehicle is powered by a 2,499cc, 4-cylinder diesel engine that puts out 134 BHP @ 3,600 rpm and 294 Nm of torque @ 1,800-3,200 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

At present, Isuzu has 20 dealership facilities, located at Delhi, Noida, Jaipur, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Madurai, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Cochin, Calicut, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Gurgaon, Indore and Vadodara. It plans to expand its dealer network to 60 outlets across India by end of 2015-16.

Re: Isuzu introduces D-Max air-conditioned and cab-chassis variants

Good, good. More variants still welcome.

But, Isuzu, get the factory up and running, so that we can buy in white plates and ASAP bring the dual cab too.

But, anyone know the sales figures for the Dmax? Seeing them on road quite a few, but would be nice to know if it's a success. Would be an incentive for Tata and Mahindra to modernise their fleet fast and also others to introduce their commercial line-up in India.
