Eicher Truck & Buses has expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of three new fully built reefer (refrigerated) trucks - Pro 1059XP, Pro 1110XP & Pro 6025. These products will help the company provide fully built, ready to use solutions for cold chain logistics.

The trucks come with an ARAI-approved design in 14 ft, 20 ft and 24 ft options. They range from a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 7 tonnes to 25 tonnes. The refrigeration unit is claimed to have an operating temperature range of -25 C to +25 C under ambient conditions of +50 C.



The Eicher Pro 1110XP is powered by an E413 BS-III engine that develops 113 BHP @ 2,800 rpm and 400 Nm of torque @ 1,400-1,600 rpm. It has a 5-speed ET 4055 gearbox, a 310 mm diameter clutch, a fuel tank capacity of 190 litres and a battery of 12V- 100Ah. It comes with a wheelbase measuring 4,300 mm, a ground clearance of 220 mm and a 26% gradeability.

The Pro 1059 XP is available with a E413 BS-III engine that puts out 94 BHP @ 2,800 rpm, and 285 Nm of torque @ 1,400-1,600 rpm. The engine is mated to an ET 30SS 5-speed gearbox and a 275 mm clutch. The truck has a wheelbase measuring 3,515 mm, a ground clearance of 210 mm and a 26% gradeability. It has a fuel tank capacity of 60 litres and a battery of 12V- 100Ah.

The Eicher Pro Eicher Pro 6025 is powered by a VEDX 5, 5-litre, BS-III engine that produces 207 BHP @ 2,200 rpm and 825 Nm of torque. It uses an ET 9056 6-speed gearbox, a 395 mm clutch and a 24V battery. The truck has a wheelbase measuring 5,300 mm, ground clearance 265 mm of and a gradeability of 22.5 %.The truck also has a fuel tank capacity of 415 litres.

Eicher has been providing truck chassis to various players in the logistics industry for building reefer containers. However, with the demand rising, the company took the step to provide fully built reefer trucks.
