The permit details and timings of private buses running in the state of Kerala will soon be available online. This comes in the final stage of equipping the buses with GPS device.

The main motive is to prevent violation of the permit and the forged timings for 16,000 buses on the roads.
Police and the motor vehicle department can now monitor the route, timings, speed of the vehicles online. The violation of the permit can also be found easily with this facility.

Infact this system will also enable to know about the routes with minimum bus services and those where buses compete in the run.

Facilities will be able to monitor the vehicles attached with GPS and its detachment from the vehicle this will be alerted in the RTO’s office.
