Good it is! Looks like more of a design study by Tata. A clay/plastic model. BUt it would be
great if they bring it into production with the Indica engine.

EDIT : Just saw the larger pictures. It IS indeed a model.

Photoshopped. Look at the 'handles' on the rear door in pics 2 and 3. Plus, the overall finish is too clean, too unreal. I doubt if Tata will sell a vehicle that does not feature a rear bumper, either - they know our market too well to sell a vehicle that will have its tailgate hit directly everytime it is rear-ended.

Yup,very much a photoshopped image. But anyways nicely done photoshop and a nice find from you.

OT[dont want to start a new thread]

Looks like there is going to be some competition for the ace too,

Atul to roll out diesel variant 400 cc rear engine vehicle
+
Bajaj to enter commercial vehicle segment

This might sound cruel, but perhaps Tata should stick to making Model Cars then. Their models look better finished than the actual cars.

looks very very boxy and being a ladder frame chassis, wonder what exactly would be the interior space in terms of leg room etc...

Would sell well as an alternate to the omni in smaller cities but I've heard innumerable complaints about the reliability of the ace. Also, the top(roof) of the ace is a bit lower than that of the omni. It must be a tighter fit inside for the passenger or maybe tata has height of the van.

A very cleverly designed car. Look at those more or less straight lines on the sides and the rear. Reduces the cost of developing/making the vehicle to a large extent. Even maintenance will be low for accident cases. Also, the proportions are such that it may prove to be a more stable vehicle on the roads when compared to the omni, which is known devil when it comes to toppling over.

By the way, did you look at those rounded rear lights? One is white, presumably for reversing... but why is the other one red? Somehow, it will look assymetric I think!

one revese lapm is okay. there is no need of 2 lamps. i have seen many cars with one reverse lamp in Europe.
