| Mahindra Treo electric 3-wheeler launched in Maharashtra Mahindra Electric Mobility has launched the Treo electric 3-wheeler in Maharashtra. It costs Rs. 2.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), after subsidies.  The Mahindra Treo uses an IP65-rated lithium-ion battery pack that is said to offer a maximum range of 130 km on a single charge. It powers an electric motor that is rated at 10.7 BHP and 42 Nm. It is paired with a direct drive transmission. The battery can be recharged in 3 hours 50 minutes using a 16 A plug. The Treo is equipped with Mahindra's NEMO Mobility platform. It offers features such as geo-fencing and allows the driver to remotely monitor vehicle range, speed and location.
