What creativity, man . Spotted this at Shahapur, on the way to the famous Jain temple there (Manas Mandir).

Awesome work there. Shows the love they have over this truck. Feels like they used the original face of the truck to recreate that look. Just imagine how it feels if the headlights turn on during the nights

From the images, it seems to me that they parked the truck and then built the structure on its chassis. You can see the bottom left part of the house is placed on the wall and fixed.

Awesome creativity. Guess the house owner could be the truck owner as well and should have loved the truck so much he decided to keep it attached to the house.

When it rains, the cabin should be the place to enjoy the chai-pakora(tea-snacks) with some matching music being played on the ITE.
I would add the missing wipers though

That is a neat spot for a house - overlooking a water body from a safe height and distance, no possibility of another house blocking the view. The garden with hanging creepers is a nice touch too.
I won't be surprised if this person built wealth from trucking business and paid homage to the very first truck they owned.

There is one truck house in Kolhapur too, inside a resort where I had stayed. It had all the facilities built-in.

This is cool.

I lived in a small town in Tamilnadu right next to Chennai for the whole of my childhood and one of the house in our town had a water tank designed to look like a HM Ambassador.
This was a 3 -storey house and the car on top used to be visible from my school ground.

Thinking of it now, I assume they had all the dimensions right as well. This is in early 90's and as a kid, loved that house so much.

I did a quick Google search and that temple looks really beautiful!

Is it Digamber or Shwetambar Jain temple?
Can you please share more details about the temple and it's surroundings?
