| New 2.5 Ton Electric Pickup from EKA / Pinnacle Industries
After Tata Ace EV, a new & larger EV pickup coming in the Commercial Vehicle space:  Quote:
Pinnacle Industries' subsidiary and EV manufacturer EKA today announced that its 2.5-ton electric light commercial vehicle has received Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMVR) certification from the Central Institute of Road Transport (CIRT).
While the company is expected to start production of the vehicle at its Pune manufacturing plant this month, the rollout of the first lot for select customers will start by the end of January 2023.
EKA claimed that it has become the first company to bring an electric pickup truck to the Indian market in the 2.5-ton light commercial vehicle category.
