Air Travel in the 1950's

I watched this video on air travel in the old, amazing presentation, enjoyed thoroughly, a must watch for any airline geek. Comparing the aircrafts of the old with the modern jets, we have come such a long way. Being a person who has seen some of those of old aircrafts in service, it was definitely nostalgic.

Mods : If its required kindly re post in a suitable thread or delete. Thanks.

Re: Air Travel in the 1950's

Thank you for sharing. Excellent video. I plan to use this as a training resource as well.

If you are interested in knowing about how the passengers travelled when long-haul flights started from the 1920s, please read the book by Alexander Frater "Beyond the Blue Horizon - On the track of Imperial Airways". Frater is more well known in India for another of his works "Chasing the Monsoon", but it is "Beyond the Blue Horizon" which is compulsory reading for aviation history enthusiasts. There is an interview with JRD Tata in the book.

A fairly priced Kindle Edition is available in Amazon.
