EKA Mobility @ Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

Big shoutout to libranof1987 for shooting these pictures & his coverage of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Thanks for sharing, man!

Eka Mobility is a pure electric commercial vehicle brand and has a wide range of vehicles from 3-wheelers to 15-meter-long buses. Here’s one of their buses called the Coach:

Re: EKA Mobility @ Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

Are these clean sheet designs with Eka the OEM or are they rebadged products from another OEM?

I'm not as well versed with the Indian CV segment but I always took it as being a bit like the PV segment with a dominant entrenched local player (Tata CVs vs Maruti Suzuki PVs) and a small handful of larger players such as Ashok Leyland and Eicher, with lesser players like Mahindra (I guess they're more biased towards the smaller CV side). Is there room for brands like Eka? How many others have threatened to enter and stuck around rather than fizzling out?

Don't know about the buses, but the trucks are rebadged Mahindra's.

The 7 tonner is a Furio.

The 2.5 tonner must be a Jeeto or Supro.

The rickshaw could be a clean sheet design since those are far simpler to design than commercial trucks. It could very well be a rebadged Mahindra Treo e-rickshaw though.

Look at this cool photo of one. Arai helmet, Alpinestar's riding jacket, trousers and boots on that guy.

Also note how Mahindra's naming convention of, end it with an "O", carries over to their CV division as well. I just realised that.
___

Credit where it's due, EKA Mobility is among the few, if not the only one, producing electric trucks.

Re: EKA Mobility @ Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

Excellent sleuthing! I thought the lamp array looked similar but had just parked it at the back of my mind seeing as there's only so many ways to skin a cat, in this case, the front of a slab sided CV.

That being said I've very rarely clocked any of the Mahindra CVs you've linked above.

I do find the dynamic auto driver image with the full riding gear pretty amusing but not senseless though. If anyone does rag a three wheeler like so, you'd hope you're cladded in full leathers and helmet for when physics strikes back.

Re: EKA Mobility @ Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

Eka has a partnership with Mahindra and Mahindra for the Truck Components. Not completely rebadged products

The interiors show what options can a customer choose - from top of the line first class to regular semi-sleeper configuration or a combination. The interiors are built by their group company, Pinnacle.

Eka LF is a city bus with low floor. It can be used in airports, but not actually confined to any specialised environment. It is in fact a VDL Citea with the electric powertrain from Eka.
