  1. Any idea what was the wheel combination?
  2. Assuming your camera phone does not have optical zoom, it may yield better quality to take a regular picture and zoom it on a PC with Photoshop.
  3. BTW, Scania has one "n" in it.

i wonder how the trucks of this segment are doing in india
is scania even capable of selling any numbers when it has to compete withTATRA, volvo and Daimler benz ACTROS(who are not selling significant numbers themselves)??

Is Scania independent currently? I guess GM took SAAB only from SAAB-Scania.

Hi

I saw this truck today morning near the Flyover outside ARAI.

The finish overall was excellent. looked like the trucks in US.
It had an orange Cab
Three people were siting confortably in the cab.
It had huge wheels.

The Drivers compartment looked like it was floating - had an independent sespension for the compartment.

Looked like more than one set of front wheels were steared together.

Unfortunately dint remember i had my digi cam in my bag or else i would have clicked it. was at a Stop.

Volvo's and Actos also have the same suspended cab in India. Volvo had this FH12 dumper in which the front two axles were steered axles.

The trucks that tow the Bofors guns in the Army are also Scania. They came with the guns.

Normal

Looks a little like my mother-in-law. Yeah, these and bigger are standard in the Western world.

That truck is HUGE! I wonder if it can fit a couple of TATA trucks in it!
