I've seen a guy doing wheelies on smaller excavators. Seriously. This teen in a lot under construction was doing wheelies in a tiny excavator while his kid brother stood by laughing. I think its got something to do with positioning the arm & bucket thingy.

Mad love for excess power, applied all too fast
and wide tires and special suspension notwithstanding
the car is totalled!

At Le Mans in June 1955, Pierre Levegh lost control of his F1 Mercedes W196-300 SLR car.
The car somersaulted, and parts of the car spun away from the car.
The bonnet and front axle separated from the frame and landed in the crowd.
The car's heavy engine block also broke free and slammed into the crowd.
Levegh himself, was thrown free of the somersaulting car.
He landed on his head, fatally crushing his skull.
Then the fuel tank ruptured and the magnesium-alloy "Elektron" body of the Mercedes burst into white hot flames, sending intensely burning fragments onto the track and into the crowd. The rescue team used water on the magnesium-alloy fire, which only intensified the inferno. The car burned for several hours. 82 spectators were killed on the spot either by flying parts or from the fire. 9 more died in hospital and 140 were injured.

Mercedes withdrew from racing for forty years.

More recently, last summer -- June 2007, six spectators were killed and twenty-two injured at the annual "Cars for Kids" charity street-drag race in Selmer, Tennessee, USA.

Australian driver 37-year old Troy Critchley was doing an exhibition-burnout routine on his Corvette drag racer in front of a drive-in restaurant, when it ploughed into the audience, killing six children and seriously injuring 22 others.

Ofcourse, there were no guardrails and the car sent bodies flying in the air.
Criminal charges have been filed against Mr. Critchley, three days ago.
Six counts of vehicular homicide due to recklessness and 22 counts of reckless aggravated assault. He posted a $35,000 bond and surrendered his passport. He will go to jail and his career is over.

I think the hydraulics of the trailer lift malfunctioned and seized. The weight of the load must have pulled it up like that.

Wheelies are fun

Found this tractor doing a wheelie, and thought the Alto belonged to the driver.

Please post your own funny pics collection.

That is very very sad to hear. About Critchley as well I saw the video on youtube its in no way his fault. Motorsports are dangerous for the spectators and the drivers as well.
