are those repossessed by bank. what are they worth for.?

SAME( pronounced Saamaay) is a well known tractor brand and is known for their light weight tractors.

You can go ahead with any 3 cylinder 30+HP version of it for general farming and hauling purpose. Also, since it has been repossessed by the bank, you will get it for cheap since the farmer would have paid 10% of the cost as DP and at least 30% as EMIs even if he paid them for 1 year on a general basis.

yes they are :D.
we are thinking about 3L to 3.5 L for both of them (not more then that).
one on them is 06 & other is 07.

the same is as good as JD's (if not better). so please check them out.
there are two versions the commando ( 40 to 55 hp) & tiger ( 65 to 75 hp)
the commando range is a little cheaper then the tiger range as tiger is mainly for exports.

The Toyota of Tractors has arrived.......

they are good but costs too much :Frustrati. no VFM.
& think about service & availability of parts.

thats why we are going for force OX 25 orchard tractor.

Have you seen them work? or just comparing specs?

Kubota has full spares and service support , i know because i am a Kubota Dealer.

My Dad has been in the Tractor/implement buiseness for more than 35 years and says these are one of the best built tractors he has seen.

we are both right .:D
they are well built but my view is little different.(practicality)

ox 25

• 4cyl. 27hp
• width 1455mm
• hydraulics lift capacity 1035kg
• price around 4 lakh

now why ox even if kubota is good.

1. more hp
2. more lift capacity
3. width is more but okey (less is good)
4. local service & spares (no kubota dealer in our area)
5. price

kubota around 4.25 lakh - discount= 4lakh (+-)
ox around 4lakh-discount-subsidy=3.5 lakh (+-):Cheering:.

The OX 25 is 3cyl. not 4.

The OX weighs 1300Kg

The Kubota weighs in at only 595Kg, by far the lightest and the most fuel efficient.

4 cylinder 27 hp.
weight 1410 kg:D.

mura i know that kubota is best in its category but i like the ox because our farming needs.
our farm is too big for kubota & we are not in to grapes for now so no need for small light weight one.

Just something on John Deere.

I have worked with John Deere. For another division than ag products. You cannot believe the amount of thinking that has gone behind each and every single product of theirs. When I attended their inter company seminars on embedded technology and fuel optimization sessions, its all mind blowing stuff. They made hybrid tractors with GPS et cetra before a majority of us heard those terms. That a company has a culture driving its products.

you should look at following things,
* I n most of the cases a tractor customer differs a lot from other automobile customers. In case of cars or bikes the customer is buying them for his luxury but a tractor is a basic necessity. Aesthetics plays no role here, performance matters.
* As I said earlier the tractor customer in most of the cases is a poor person, he cannot afford diesel every time so "kerosene abuse" is common! But there is one problem the BOSCH inline pumps can withstand kerosene abuse (thats why most of the Indian farmers prefer bosch pumps) whereas delphi and other pumps are not capable to withstand kerosene abuse. (even tuning of bosch pump is easier compared to others, Indian farmer never cares about "emission" he just advances the injection timing!! to get better efficiency )
* Oil consumption is the most important criteria!
* It also depends upon the tractor application type (puddling, haulage etc.) (JD is good for puddling whereas mahindra performs well in haulage)

We have a sturdy Ford Tractor at the family farmland in Haryana since 1979 (seriously).

Over the years, 2 more were added from the Eicher category.

There is a combined harvestor from Punjab Tractors / Swaraj brand.

During heavy tilling days, we lease other machinery from outside agencies.

John deere is the way to go. Followed by Swaraj.

I had worked for John Deere for around two years. The amount of money and time they invest for innovation in their products is just unmatched. They do offer state of the art farm equipments, but still they are newbie in indian market. Their dealer ship network needs an expansion. Also the price is slightly higher than indian manufacturers.

whats the lowest price for Kubota? where?

i want to buy 2 of them. (small tractors)

local dealer is quoting 4.25L.
