SST(SivaSelvi) got the route extension. Initially it was Pollachi-Palani and now it is running in Coimbatore-Pollachi-Palani route. Recently they have also purchased RBS's(RRR) Pollachi-Palani route too. Sri Lakshmi still running as Pollachi-Palani service only and there was no route extension to this bus.

We also have 52+2 seaters and 60+2 seaters from TNSTC-Coimbatore in the viking chassis. 60+2 seaters are running in Coimbatore-Palani(Ex: TN38 N 1794) and Coimbatore-Palakkad route. The latest additions to Coimbatore-Palakkad route are 60 seaters. New Palani-Palakkad(TN38 N 2567) is a 52+2 seater.
This is the first 12M 3X2 AC bus in TN which is running as a stage carrier. Operated in Salem-Karur and it is a Veera built guy. Sorry for the poor image. Taken in 2009 when this was in Salem BS. That time i never knew that this was a 12M bus. :)
Came to know that the below bus from Kalaimaghal which is running in Coimbatore-Palani route is also 3X2 seater with 12M chassis having 68 seats. This could be the first Non AC 12M 3X2 seater in TN.

AFAIK, There was a 12m TML during the period 2008/09 in Coimbatore - Mettupalayam route and the operator was Vijay Chakravarthy. Though at present they have AL 222.
Recent 12m addition in the city bus segment in Coimbatore is by Vee Vee for their S16 route. It's an TML 1613.

To my knowledge there is no 1613 and only 1612 and 1616. Product being 1618

This Two tier AC sleeper bus departs at 13:00, i missed that bus last day when i went to Kadavanthra to take the pic.. I saw the Kesineni's HYD EKM B9R there...
Also spotted Tippu Sulthan [KL 01 BD 5510] 17:00 DEP EKM CHN non AC bus...This is a new service to Chennai.

The first pic where in the bus is a brand new seems to be taken by Jimmy Jose if am right.
The bus in the fifth picture looks different as the Destination board is center aligned while at all other places it is aligned towards right.
Tippu Sultan was a long time Chennai Trivandrum operator. They had one pair of non AC buses running for many years way back from the Mid 1990s. At that time RathiMeena was the major operator.
Also interestign to see the Kallada Kochi Hyderabad operation with Jabbar badging. Is Jabbar giving the local support?? Jabbar is a long time operator in the south although they dont have a great reputation. On simil;ar lines didnt Kallada have a service on BLR BOM a few years ago??? What happened to it???
KPN is now making a reentry to HYD. They had BLR HYD and MAA HYD services a few years back but pulled out soon.

KPN currently operates from HYD to Bangalore, Chennai, Pondicherry, Salem, Coimbatore, Madurai and Ernakulam. They are introducing their HYD-Marthandam service soon.

All the buses built by RWs have Destination board aligned at center..Check the RN series buses....
