This route exists because of lesser interstate KMs covered inside KL/KA states. I think they have permit for 2 services and now one service alone is running. In the same lines, APSRTC has a Hyderabad to Chennai service after AP state bifurcation.

Yes. This depot is used for connecting important cities/towns across TN from trivandrum.
