With Telengana coming into the picture, this is going to complicate travel from Bangalore to Hyderabad for Operators. They would now be required to pay taxes in 3 states like the Bangalore-Ernakulam Operators, one option would be to skip NH-7 and take NH-4, travel through Karnataka and enter Telengana directly, similar to Kerala buses taking the Mysore route to enter Kerala thereby avoiding Tamil Nadu and its taxes

Would be very interesting to get comments from our Gurus on the forum

Make that 3 states and one Union territory, as Hyderabad is most likely going to be one for 5-10 years.

There may be a cost saving too, as UTs generally have lower taxes on fuel it may save the operators a couple of bucks a liter on diesel if they fill up in Hyderabad.

Here are the pictures of the new KeSRTC Super Deluxe Air Bus.

There are 20 nos Ashok Leyland Viking 10.8m and 30 nos TATA LPO 1512c 11.1m.
Body is built at CENTRAL Works, PAPPANAMCODE , Thiruvananthapuram.
Honestly the only major difference is in the interiors.. it all looks same from outside.SC 40, driver cabin partition, no luggage space.
First bus is RSC675.

In the first two pictures, front left side is now similar to AL's design (no power steering oil supply arrangement on the left).

End of the day, the game depends on what will be the taxes imposed by TG Government.

The taxes of Andhra and other states are known already.

By the time TG is formed, many more highways would have got upgraded, widened, 4-laned thus opening up new routes for bus operators and travelers.

KSRTC uses Michelin radials on their long distance buses. I've seen the Super Express, Deluxe and Garuda Volvo buses shod in Michelins. So, it's not surprising if they are radials.

During the body building process they normally put in old worn-out tyres in order to prevent the new ones getting damaged. The new tyres will be back once the bus is ready (after painting). If you noticed, the buses have only 4 tyres in all - the rear axle has only one on each side.

Hi all! Uploading few snaps of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMT,Maharashtra)'s newly inducted 10 minibuses supplied by Tata Motors. Few details of the bus
1. built on TML LPO7.5T Ultra Y1 platform.
2. 4200 wheel base.
3. 31 plastic moulded seats.
4. TATA 497 , 3litre BSIII 120 bhp engine.
5. BSIII compliant engine.
6. G-550 6 speed gearbox Cable shift gear mechanism.
7.On board diagnosis electronic dashboard.

last but not the least body fabricated by TATA MARCOPOLO MOTORS, Dharwad.
